A possibly unwise project to watch and review all available Shaw Brothers movies released between 1958 and 1985. Currently that is about 665 movies, of which I have reviewed 225. 34% done!

About 120 Shaw Brothers films are currently lost. Should they ever turn up I’ll watch them.

This project started in 2004 and I would definitely approach many of those early reviews differently were I to write them now. Early reviews were less chronological, as I had to watch whatever Celestial released in whatever order they released it.

I am the author of all content on the site. AI can go to hell.

I’ve spent over 30 years working in film exhibition and have watched an unhealthy amount of Hong Kong and Taiwanese movies.
